Elried has combined its expertise in industrial coding with HP’s expertise in thermal inkjet (TIJ) technology to develop an outstanding and customized solution for its customer Theegarten-Pactec.

A reliable packaging coding solution was provided for the packaging manufacturer Theegarten-Pactec that integrates seamlessly into the CHS high-speed packaging machines and fulfills requirements such as the application of batch numbers and best-before dates. The edding in-line 12 Printer from Elried with HP TIJ 2.5 solvent ink cartridges was integrated into the packaging machines to achieve fast, user-friendly and efficient coding on the film packaging.

The guiding principle of simple handling was particularly important – the two systems achieved a holistic fit. Both the ease of use of the edding in-line 12 and the snap-in/snap-out technology of the print cartridges are designed to be simple and efficient, allowing operators without a technical background to install them in just a few minutes.

The results speak for themselves:

• Increased precision: With 12mm or 25mm print height, even more precise and clearer markings in high print quality.
• Efficiency: With an impressive 78 cycles per second, productivity has been raised to a new level. Easy integration and serviceability has also maximized uptime and reduced maintenance costs.
