Founded in 1959 by Elisabeth Riedmaier

Elried was founded by Elisabeth Riedmaier in 1959 as the European representative of IDEAL STENCIL COMPANY Belleville USA. At the time, she was able to establish herself as a pioneer in this male-dominated industry. The company has been in family hands ever since and the motto “nothing is impossible” has remained. In the meantime, the third generation is working in the company in a managerial capacity.

Based on the self-image we have of our company, our focus is therefore on long-term and stable customer relationships. Your satisfaction is our priority over short-term profit. With this credo, Elried has grown up over the years with its customers and is constantly growing through the increase of more and more new product areas adapted to customer needs.

The business areas of elried

As one of the leading suppliers in the field of industrial marking and labeling, Elried primarily operates two business segments:The marking and export labeling segment comprises automatic systems for creating stencils and the corresponding materials such as sprays, stamps, pens and chalks for industrial labeling needs.

Product and packaging marking includes a wide range of inkjet and laser systems for every application (e.g. MHD) as well as spray systems for defect marking. In addition to systems for stationary installation, Elried also offers systems for mobile use.

With the launch of the innovative edding compact printer series in early 2019, the two family-owned companies Elried and edding, the expert for durable, high-quality markers and inks, are jointly revolutionizing industrial marking.

Doing business sustainably – this is not a new idea for Elried: long-term thinking, reliable action, and commitment to society and the environment have been a matter of course in the family business since it was founded in 1959. This is the only way we were, are and will remain fit for the future.
