Marking with coding units
Basic functionality of coding units
In coders or also coding units, the text to be printed is on a printing drum. Usually interchangeable, in that the individual letters sit on ribbed rubbers. The coder runs on the product to be printed and transfers its pressure to the product as it unrolls. Ink coders are a robust and cost-effective solution for simple marking tasks.
Advantages of coding units
- low running costs due to the low-maintenance design of the coders
- high clock rates of up to 350 cycles per minute can be achieved
- fast character change via the Telos-system
- robust
Fields of application
- defect marking
- printing of information such as grade, batch and date codes, logos, customer information, et cetera
