mymuesli was founded in 2007 by three students in Passau and is considered a pioneer in the field of customizable food products. As the world’s first provider of personalized organic muesli, mymuesli has focused on innovation and customer orientation from the very beginning.

As part of clean coding in food production, mymuesli previously relied on Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) printers for packaging marking.
This technology proved to be maintenance-intensive and prone to failure. Recurring breakdowns led to unplanned downtime and significantly reduced the efficiency of production lines.
Additionally, the open ink system led to contamination of machines and the entire production environment. This posed a major challenge, especially in the sensitive food sector.

To optimize coding processes, mymuesli replaced the existing CIJ technology with modern TIJ printing systems. The edding in-line 12 from the edding compact printer Series is now in use, combined with black NPXP ink.
The system is based on a closed ink cartridge system. This eliminates contamination in production – an essential advantage for clean coding in food production.
At the same time, the need for complex maintenance and external service technicians is eliminated. Cartridges can be replaced quickly and easily by the operator.
Thanks to their compact design, the printers can be easily integrated into existing production lines and used flexibly.
By switching to TIJ technology, mymuesli was able to make its production processes significantly more efficient and cleaner.
Maintenance efforts and downtime are now a thing of the past. External technicians are no longer required, and cartridge changes can be carried out quickly during operation.
